I've seen some of the advertisements for games like Diego and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, but I'm unsure about the ages they are geared for. Are these something a 3 year old could do? Or are they really for children 5 and up? I'd be interested in hearing any experiences you've had with these types of games.

No experience with that. Sorry, but I would imagine that there are children that are 3 that play these games, it helps to teach eye hand coordination. I have seen 3 year old play WII games like Mario racing and so on. So I would imagine that they could play a Micky Mouse game and understand.

pgsahm-one of the things I do before I buy a game is check it out on Amazon.com. I know that with the Internet you have to take comments with a "grain of salt" but with Amazon's site, I always feel pretty good about the reviews. I think you'll be able to find the answer you are looking for if you give it a try.

Well, I guess that would be a good idea to check a reputable site for reviews on the game. I would definately takes the notes of others here as there is no reason why they would not be worth checking out.

You also need to consider the age of the person who is posting. A teen playing a game designed for a pre-schooler may give the game a bad review because they were bored to death. Just read the reviews and you'll be able to get a sense of how old the person might be and whether the review really applies to your situation.

Thanks for the answers. I will probably check out some reviews to see what they say about the various games. I know my poor almost 3 year old feels left out since he never gets to do anything but watch his brothers play... Confused

Your best bet is Mario Kart. It is simple and straight forwards, but I honestly wouldn't know if a 3 year old could manage it. Sorry, try going to a store and trying some games out yourself or ask a clerk to assist you.

Well, I think that would be a great concept to have a look at a reliable site for opinions on the experience. I would most definately requires the paperwork of others here as there is no reason why they would not be value looking at.
