Dropped Ds Lite |
|
Last day my Ds Lite slipped from my hand and hit the ground. Now it won't turn on or anything. Is there anyway of fixing it? I can't afford a new one, and am concerned it will cost a bundle to fix it.

Unfortunately, but there really isn't anything you can do to repair your DS Lite, as even if you were to purchase the parts, there is no way to know for sure which ones you might need, as it could be something as simple as a cracked wire or soldered connection, which is extremely easy to repair, or it might be that the circuit board is damaged beyond repair and will need to be replaced.
So the best thing to do is if you give a call to Nintendo'sCustomer Service number, or use their webforum( http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/webform.jsp ) to contact them, and they can give you an estimate on what it might take to repair it and then set up the repair if you decide to.
But even in the worst case repair, it does not go over $75, which is expensive, but still a lot less then purchasing a new DS Lite.

If it's not even turning on, the battery probably came loose or the power button got dislodged. Neither is that hard to fix.
If you want to fix it yourself, you can buy a triwing screwdriver to open it up yourself, but this is only recommended if you know what you're doing.

Nice decision, because if you call nintendo for help, they will repair it.If your warranty is not over then it is the best choice.

If the warranty period id over, then you can repair it yourself or you can give it to a repairing shop.
