Extra stylus |
|
Where is the best place to buy extra stylus? My son has lost his and we need to replace it. They are really hard to keep up with. Especially the ones that don't seem to want to stay within the DS. It's like they're too big or something.

You can use any stylus, if you are concerned about losing them I would try to buy them in wholesale bulk. I think you can search online for them and find them they should be able to save you more money doing it that way then buying individual.

I mostly use a pen with some candlewax on the tip as a stylus, but if you need to buy one, you can pick one up at Wal Mart or any decent gaming store.
Ones that are made by Nintendo should fit as well, if you mean that they're too small in terms of not fitting, then you'll need to get a stylus made for the DS lite, as that has a larger stylus.

That's actually a really great idea. A stylus is just one of those things that "disappears" every now and then so having some several on hand will save you the time and headache of running to the store to get another one. Great tip attagirl.

Been there had to do that, and found that getting more than you need is really good. I could try to see what I have left around, I have been sharing with everyone I know that had the same issue.

Pen with candlewax? Really? That's a cool idea. I hadn't even thought about using something alternative to the stylus. I might have to do that. It would be cheap!
Thanks for the replies. I need to find a wholesaler I think.

I agree that it is a cheap way of doing it, but I am sure that the wax would eventually build up in light layers. I just would not really want to do that. But alternatives are a good thing if you cannot afford to get a new one.

Hi guys,
I have lost mine a few times and I normally visit our local IT center and I buy them there at the phone section as some mobile phones also use them. I normally pay less then a dollar a piece. You could use a pen with wax as mentioned as well.

I acknowledge that it is a inexpensive way of doing it, but I am sure that the wax would gradually develop up in gentle levels. I just would not really want to do that. But choices are a great element if you cannot manage to get a new one.
