I suggest two methods.
1)Wipe the matte finish with windex
2)Wipe the matte finish with a paper tower with VERY LITTLE water
I hope this will help you

I don't like windex, as it leaves a smell and seems very chemically
I use Lens Cleaner. You can get these at most places that sell eyeglasses

Does using lens cleaner damage the DSi's exterior?I heard cleaning the DSi with an lens cleaner cloth is fine, but I'm not so sure about lens cleaner.

If lens cleaner is safe for fragile glasses lens, then I'm sure it is safe for the DS

I don,t think so.The lens cleaner is meant for lenses. It might be OK for the camera lenses but maybe not the finish. There is nothing to worry about with Windex as it is a normal cleaner and if you dry it properly, there is no smell.

I don't see what damage a simple lens cleaner would do to the matte finish. And Lens Cleaner doesn't smell nearly as strong as Windex.

We are not actually arguing. We were just debating which would be better.
Anyway, you got some choices. You can select from them
