What about the demand for the Wii

Have you all heard about the demand for the Wii. That many stores cannot keep them in stock long enough to get more shipments. They cannot seem to get enough units at one time to accommodate the demand for them in some areas. I know they are hard to find in my area of the country.

My wife bought our Wii sometime last May but it was a pain to find one. I called the local Walmart every Monday or Tuesday and asked if they received their shipment. Usually, they would only receive about five or six units. Once I found out they were in stock, I called my wife and she rushed to the store and grabbed one. It took about two or three weeks for me to find one.

I got lucky when I found ours. I just happened to be checking at Walmart for computer software when I passed the case where they had the Wiis. I had give up hope of ever getting one because I had checked for weeks on end! Laughing

I just happened to see the Wii box and ran to get the saleslady. Literally ran. LOL I was so excited!

It really does depend on where you live and how many units they get in. I have to agree our walmart has only been getting about 5 a week for the last year or so. I am glad I have mine but others I know that one them want me to watch out for them. I would do it too.

All the shops in the area where I live have plenty of Wii machines on stock. There was a slight problem with supply over Christmas but this has long been sorted. I think most of the problems were a year ago.
